After a few delays, G.O.O.D Music rapper Pusha T finally announced the new release date for his solo debut album, My Name Is My Name.

Initially, the “Numbers On The Boards” rapper was scheduled to release his new album on July 16, but due to the recording process, Pusha delayed the album indefinitely. Now, Pusha is almost finished wrapping up his album and is moving forward with a fall release date.

Pusha made the announcement on Twitter:

My Name is My Name…10/8/13 “My dope don’t spoil.” – Self

— PUSHA T (@PUSHA_T) August 22, 2013

During a recent interview with MTV’s Rapfix, Pusha T was asked about album delays in hip-hop, and he responded by stating:

“It’s been a lot of talk about pushbacks, but it don’t matter ’cause my dope don’t spoil.”

As of now, Pusha’s new album features guest appearances by Kanye West, Rick Ross, Future, and Kendrick Lamar. My Name Is My Name will hit store shelves October 8.
