In a sit down on Shade 45’s VIP Saturdays, Cam’ron dropped some hilarious news that he’s looking to get into the toilet paper business because he wants “to do stuff that people don’t want have an option for.”
“I’m looking into making toilet paper,” the rapper told hosts, Superstar Jay ad Gray Rizzy. The Dipset rapper backed up his idea to get into the toilet paper business with some sound rationale, stating that mostly it’s because toilet paper is a need, not a want, unless you are a “bum.” “Toilet paper is not an option. It’s an option if you want to drive a car. It’s an option if you want to use a straw. It’s an option if you want to wear Nikes or Reeboks. But, you gotta wipe your ass, man.”
From there, Cam showed his commitment to the idea by breaking down the costs to the hosts. He explained that he would like to invest in a $12,000 toilet paper making machine, which is the cheapest one, to kick-start his business. The rapper also compared the idea to his previous venture into the liquor industry, where he sold sizzurp because he felt like an outsider. This time, he wouldn’t make as big of a deal in order to be taken seriously.
The burgeoning business man is no stranger to new business ventures. Most recently, he teamed up with Reebok on his Ventilator Supreme collaboration complete with insoles featuring the famous pink fur photo of him. Over the years, Cam has dipped into a number of different business including a cape collection with Mark McNairy, an Ebola mask at the height of the outbreak, Oh Boy cologne, and more.
The rapper says that his focus on business has kept music on the backburner, but he did drop some new music recently with Juelz Santana on “Oh Yeah,” which features Cam’s signature humor and even includes Birdman Power 105 quote. “I been working on some new music, and I wanted to let some shit go for all my fans before I head out on the Smokers Club tour. I’m going to perform some new music on the road,” Cam told us at the time over email.
It does seem Cam is being a little more careful and weighing his options before committing to the new toilet paper venture, but we’ll have to wait and see if the rapper will soon be stocking bathrooms everywhere. Watch Cam’s full interview above.
